Giorgio Semino
Giorgio Semino, of counsel of Navone & Partners, regularly advises leading financial institutions and investments funds on tax structures, international tax and corporate trust. Giorgio also advises domestic and foreign private clients on structuring complex estate and asset protection schemes.
Giorgio, a 1993 graduate cum laude from the Business School of the University of Genoa (Italy) and a 2002 Phd in International Taxation from the Law School of the University of Genoa, is a professor of corporate law at the Business School of the University of Genoa. He is the author of several books and articles on corporate law, tax and trust as well as a regular speaker at seminars and conferences on trust and taxation.
Giorgio, who serves as a board of directors and a board of statutory auditors member in several Italian companies, is an Italian qualified chartered accountant (Dottore Commercialista) and a member of the Trust Committee (Commissione Trust) of the Italian Chartered Accountants Association (Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili), as well as a member of IFA (International Fiscal Association). He is also member of the executive committee of the highly reputed Italian trust's experts association "Il Trust in Italia".
Giorgio is fluent in Italian and English.
