Carlo V. Navone, founder of Navone & Partners,

Carlo, a former lawyer at Ughi e Nunziante in Milan and at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in New York and a former member of the board of directors of Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in Italy,
has an extensive experience in representing foreign companies, investors and funds in domestic and cross-border M & A deals as well as corporate and commercial matters in general.
Inter alia, Carlo advised British Telecom (UK) on the outsourcing of its Italian call center units; Deloitte & Touche (USA) on setting up of a number of Italian trusts; Dun and Bradstreet Co. (USA)
on the acquisition of majority interests in several Italian companies operating in the real estate information market; Freudenberg & Co (Germany) in various cross border transactions;
Interpublic Group (USA) in relation to the acquisition of the control of several Italian companies in the media relations market.
As part of his pro-bono activity, Carlo is the settlor and the guardian of Civuenne Trust
(www.civuenne.com), a charity engaged in providing assistance to needy people in Genoa (Italy).
Carlo, a 1993 graduate cum laude from the Law School of the University of Genoa (Italy) and a 2001 Phd in International Taxation from the Law School of the University of Genoa,
is an Italian qualified lawyer (Avvocato) since 1997 and a member of the Genoa Bar (Ordine Avvocati Genova) as well as a member of IBA (International Bar Association).
